General Announcements

1. Ministries Recognition Sunday is March 20, 2011. Church Ministries will be set up with displays and information in Jackson Hall. Members are encouraged to visit and learn about the various ministries of the church. If you are not participating in a ministry, now is a good time to join one!

2. Members wishing to be a part of the Technology Initiative should email Daryl Simpson at daryl.simpson@1stnewchristian.org. Members with experience in web design and/or graphic design are encouraged to express interest.

3. The back door entrance from the parking lot will be closed at 11:45am each Sunday. Persons wishing to enter the building should enter through the front doors. Your cooperation is appreciated.

4. The FNCCDC Board of Directors has begun fundraising for the Summer Freedom School scheduled for July 5-August 12. The goal is $70,000 to provide the six week program to children at no cost to families. The Summer Freedom School is a program of the Children’s Defense Fund and Second District Mark Ridley-Thomas.
